Transportation
It's easy to get to Louisville. Nearly half of the U.S. population can drive here in a day or less on I-65, I-64 or I-71; Louisville International Airport connects us to everybody else.
But it's also easy to get around. Commuter traffic is light by the standards of other cities, and TARC, the easy-to-use bus system, covers the city and extends into several of the larger surrounding counties.
The city's efforts to improve bicycle traffic have won Louisville official designation as a bicycle-friendly community. From downtown to the Highlands and Crescent Hill, and throughout the city's many parks, Louisville has already demonstrated that it's a great place to walk.
And these many means of moving about are all ways to get with what's going on in the 'Ville. Like TARC's downtown trolleys, a cheap way to cruise the central business district's shops, restaurants, museums and attractions like Fourth Street Live - not to mention special events like Bats games at Slugger Field and First Friday gallery hops.
Mobility = Possibility.
