Civitas: Regional LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce

Civitas is the LBGTQ+ Chamber of Commerce which serves the state of Kentucky with Areas in Greater Louisville, Lexington, Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky, Eastern, Southern, & Western Kentucky, and is an affiliate chapter of the National LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce. This organization focuses on LGBTQ+ business certification, education, and networking to strengthen the regional ecosystem based on the idea that supporting diverse-owned businesses is the foundation of community transformation and economic impact. Civitas stands for citizenship, especially as imparting shared responsibility, a common purpose, and sense of community, and was born out of the desire of many stakeholders from Louisville, Cincinnati, Lexington, and beyond to create a chamber focused on supporting and cultivating a thriving LGBTQ+ community. They are proud to have representation from across the LGBTQ+ spectrum already engaged, knowing there will always be opportunities for growth.
