DESCRIPTION:Play an active role in restoring the Louisville tree canopy by helping us plant over 100 trees in the St. Joseph Neighborhood from 10:45 a.m. – 1 p.m.! Louisville Parks and Recreation’s Urban Forestry division\, TreesLouisville\, and Louisville Grows are teaming up to plant trees in the rights-of-way\, on residential properties\, and at businesses in the area. We will provide tools and training on how to plant a tree- No experience necessary! Gloves\, safety vests\, and water refill station will also be provided.
