GENERAL  

The Financial Planning Analyst is responsible for managing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting by analyzing the past and present financial data of the organization and estimate future revenues and expenditures.

DUTIES

The following is a summary of the major essential functions of this position. The position may require other duties, both major and minor, that are not mentioned below, and specific functions may change from time to time.

● Manages financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
● Creates variance analysis reports and financial models.
● Leads real-time financial performance monitoring.
● Escalates any financial issues to management.
● Sets and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.
● Completes market research and comparable company analysis.
● Recommends strategies for increasing financial performance.
● Compiles detailed monthly financial reports.
● Collaborates with senior members of the accounting and finance teams.
● Provide administrative support to SVP of Business Administration.
● Perform other assigned duties as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATION: 

● Bachelor’s Degree (advanced degree preferred)
● Presenting/facilitation/public speaking
● Appropriate State and Federal Clearances
● Demonstrates excellent financial and quantitative skills.

● Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office software, Google suite, and Power Bi (or other similar product)
● Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and assumption of responsibilities not delineated in the job description which are related to work being completed.
