Compensation: Living allowance: $
16,000 annually with an additional $6,195 educational award upon the completion of 1700 hours of service. Health insurance and child care subsidies for members.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
AmeriCorps members will mentor truant students, provide parent support, recruit community volunteers for their schools, and engage in community outreach to support children and families.

AmeriCorps members provide additional support to the Family Resource Youth Service Centers within JCPS schools.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. High school diploma or GED
2. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and oral communication skills
3. Valid driver’s license
4. Effective communication skills
