Louisville Metro Government has an open position for CLASS & COMPENSATION ANALYST – SALARY: $59,217.60. Purpose is to analyze, research, compile data and submit recommendations on classification, compensation, and compliance investigations. Conducts job audits, interviews employees and supervisors, analyzes position questionnaires, reviews performance appraisals and obtains information to prepare recommendations. Creates new and revises job descriptions. Calculates and prepares cost estimates, pay changes and statistical reports, completes salary surveys and researches and compiles information. Explains procedures to employees and prepares recommendations, correspondence and documents to implement classification changes. Provides the hiring unit with the appropriate documentation concerning a recommended accommodation for offers over the minimum or other actions. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial/Organization Psychology or related discipline.
