Our company is looking for the right person to build a career with us in the hardware/sales channel. The Louisville-based staff features employees all with at least 8 years of service each, showcasing our ability to retain and support our team.
ELSCO (Ed Lewis Sales Co.) is a well-established manufacturers’ representative firm with a 50-year history of servicing the independent hardware store channel. Our newly remodeled corporate office is conveniently located in the heart of St. Matthews. Our office team supports a National Field Sales Team of approximately a dozen reps located throughout the United States.
Inside Sales/Customer Support is a key role in our organization, responsible for communicating with the customers for the manufacturers we represent, delivering first-class customer service for some of the retail hardware/home center industry’s best-known brands. Our company strives for the highest levels of customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Provide price quotes, acting as a liaison between our customers and the manufacturers we represent
- Respond to customers via inbound/outbound calls or email correspondence, providing customers with courteous, prompt, and responsive resolution of their inquiries
- Enter orders into our internal system and then process them through to the manufacturer partner for fulfillment
- This internal position is an extension of our field sales reps located around the country and is critical to our overall success.
- Other duties or tasks as assigned by management
The position is full-time, and our office hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm. This is an in-office role but there is some flexibility as needed.
