Janitorial Supervisor (Hiring 2: 1 for Louisville and 1 for New Albany)

The FMS Supervisor is part of the FMS Story. You take pride in leading teams of people and providing excellent customer service. You understand that good people and clean buildings go hand-in-hand. You understand the importance of leadership presence, follow up, accountability and communication. The FMS Supervisor reports to the appropriate Operations Manager. The scheduled shift for this position is M-F second shift, appx 2pm-10:30p, some weekends required.

The role of the supervisor includes and is not limited to;

Planning and Execution

Field employee call-outs, communicate to manager/director
Field customer needs, communicate to manager/director
Develop daily coverage plan with manager, director
Assign cleaning tasks to asst. supervisors, leads, flex cleaners, cleaners
Verify execution of daily coverage plan
Resolve minor, immediate issues (safety, cleaning, equipment/supply, employee, customer)
Train cleaners, leads, flex-cleaners, and Assistant Supervisors
Identify recurring safety, cleaning, equipment/supply, employee, and customer needs
Represent FMS

Verify cleaning is completed to FMS standards
Identify safety, cleaning, equipment/supply, employee, and customer needs during visits

Communicate safety needs to Manager daily
Communicate cleaning needs to Manager daily

Communicate company initiatives and employee programs to team members
Communicate company initiatives and employee programs to team members
Respond to immediate customer needs and communicate to customers as assigned by Manager
Additional Requirements/Benefits:

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs, carry up to 20lbs
Must be able to walk for long periods of time
Must be able to stand, stoop and bend
Vaccination required
Includes use of company vehicle and cell phone
Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $42,000.00 per year
