Working Calendar: 208 Days/10 Hours (2nd Shift)
Salary Schedule: IB/ GRADE SEE BELOW

Scope of Responsibilities:
Repairs windows, doors and hardwood floors; floor and ceiling tile, framing; builds concrete forms; installs chalk and bulletin boards; assumes responsibility for the performance of planned preventative maintenance tasks, initial troubleshooting and corrective maintenance tasks for assigned buildings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- GENERAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN III,IB/GRADE9

  1. High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  2. Five (5) years of experience in field
  3. Ability to set up and operate all carpenter shop equipment
  4. Physically able to climb and work in high places on all types of scaffolds, ladders and lifts
  5. Experience in reading and following blueprints, drawings, schematics and diagrams
  6. Valid driver's license
  7. Effective communication skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- GENERAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN II,IB/GRADE7

  1. High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  2. Three (3) years of experience in relevant construction/maintenance field
  3. Physically able to climb and work in high places on all types of scaffolds, ladders and lifts
  4. Valid driver's license
  5. Effective communication skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- GENERAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I,IB/GRADE5

  1. High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  2. Physically able to climb and work in high places on all types of scaffolds, ladders and lifts
  3. Valid driver's license
  4. Effective communication skills
