Purpose:

To provide overall financial and accounting direction and leadership for global food ingredient

company. Place emphasis on Growth, Innovation, Operational Excellence and Superior Customer

Experience.

Responsibilities:

§ Uphold Givaudan’s Mission Statement, Quality Policy, Values and Beliefs.

§ Responsible for strategic and operating decisions as a member of the Sense Colour Leadership Team

(SCLT). Maintain focus on achieving business objectives.

§ Set the tone and example for financial and business integrity of SCBU and subsidiaries. Lead Finance

and IT teams to achieve annual and multi-year objectives. Assess team performance and create well-

rounded development plans for growth and improvement.

§ Develop and maintain strong network of advisers on finance and general business issues.

§ Perform analysis and develop and execute plans for both internal growth and acquisition opportunities

to optimize and protect Givaudan interests. Lead financial integration and process improvement.

§ Develop and operate a capital expenditure process, including tracking of expenditures against plans

and post-audit of achieved returns. Analyze financial impact of capital expenditure alternatives.

§ Coordinate financial and management reporting systems to provide accurate, timely and meaningful

data to all internal and external users.

§ Prepare financial projections in line with strategic scenarios. Identify improvement opportunities in

financial operations and drive continuous improvement.

§ Work with Finance Directors to ensure proper internal control structures are designed and

implemented to ensure timely and accurate financial management reporting.

§ Manage cash, including annual cash projections. Identify opportunities to maximize cash flow.

§ Develop and execute strategies to ensure entity tax positions are compliant globally.

§ Manage pension and insurance processes to optimize Company benefits.

§ Develop and manage foreign currency exposure and commodity hedging strategies to limit risk.

§ Provides support for pricing strategy teams. Review costs and costing strategy using market inputs.

§ Coordinate with IT team to improve information technology platforms, develop and maintain linkage

among legacy IT systems and drive efficiency projects for platform users.

Skill Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with 15-20 years of experience; minimum of 10 years in a

management / leadership position with broad business background. Knowledgeable and experienced in

accounting, financial analysis, business structures and strategic planning. Experience with acquisitions

and foreign currency management required. Computer literate, particularly with spreadsheets and

industry-standard software/ERP systems. Good people management skills and demonstrated ability to

successfully interact at all levels of the organization.
