Responsibilities:
The General Ledger Accountant is responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the company’s financial records, accurate and timely filing of assigned and required reporting, reconciling intercompany and general ledger accounts, collecting data from company systems, and analyzing company results. This role will also provide support to the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.

Duties include:

Compile and prepare various reports required by external agencies with 100% accuracy and ensure that they are submitted on a timely basis.
Prepare all reports and research requested by internal customers.
In collaboration with the tax team, utilize company systems to collect information used as the basis for tax calculations.
Analyze cash collections and apply to customer accounts; investigate discrepancies and follow-up with customers as necessary
Reconcile accounts payable documentation and support payments by matching invoices/PO’s/receiving documents.
Manage payables through Intellichief system.
Provide information required by external auditors.
Ensure that all entries and work-papers are in compliance with GAAP.
Note if internal controls are working as intended and if not, propose changes in those controls.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED

3 years of relevant experience (minimum)
Strong analytical and technical skills o Undergraduate Degree in Accounting, Business or related field

PREFERRED
CPA

Accounting, Accountant, Staff Accountant, General Ledger Accountant, Accounts Payable, Accounting Manager, Finance and Accounting

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
