We are assisting our client with filling a temporary to hire opening for a HR Assistant/Recruiter.

The Recruiter position is responsible for full-cycle recruitment solutions for the organization’s 20+ locations. From talent sourcing and attracting applicants to screening and interviewing candidates, the Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and recommending the ideal candidate placement within open or future opportunities.

Collaborate with hiring managers and identify hiring needs.
Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance for safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, aptitude exams and certifications.
Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with managers to understand department and position requirements.
Develop and update job descriptions.
Conduct background checks and employment verifications.
Perform new hire orientation and retention programs.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management.
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Provides guidance and input on business unit restructure, workforce planning, and succession planning.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM- SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate section of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of job qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with HRM, TA, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software.
Excellent verbal/ written communication, interpersonal/customer service, organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
