MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• JCPS Retired Teacher
• Minimum of 64 semester college credit hours from an accredited college and a minimum of a 2.45 GPA

Application Instructions
1.  Complete a JCPS online application and the state mandated online training courses. (Click the apply button in the upper right hand corner). 
2.  A Criminal Records Check is Required – The records check fee is $51.25 and completed through an outside agency named Identigo. 
Note: Completing this step does not guarantee employment.  There is a $10.00 fee for a State Child Abuse and Neglect Check.
3. Successful candidates will receive notification via email that they have met the necessary qualifications to attend the Substitute Teacher Orientation along with instructions on how to complete your Criminal Records & Child Abuse and Neglect Check. This could take a couple of weeks.
