Job Description
Responsibilities

Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical and other installed systems, equipment, and other components.
Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC/R systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds, and production equipment as it pertains to assigned buildings.
Study and become familiar with the various items of equipment, and the methods required to use them properly, that are required in everyday activities.
Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.
Completion of written documentation is required, such as work orders, permits and safe work documentation.
Manage refrigerants in compliance with KY and EPA requirements, including maintaining accurate refrigerant usage and inventory records
Routinely available as “On Call” craftsperson Maintain compliance with the regulations,
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Team player with good interpersonal skills
High school diploma or state equivalent required 2 years of related trade schooling or equivalent
Experience

Minimum 3 years experience working with mechanical systems. Universal certification (Refrigeration) required.
Ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports Knowledge of OSHA standards and local codes
Proficient with computer-based systems and programs, including Microsoft Office and Outlook Skilled and physically able to operate electric hand tools, work on a ladder, carry tools, lift and carry heavy loads, operate required equipment, and operate a motor vehicle Able to work in close places such as closets, crawl spaces, attics, vaults, etc.
