Are you interested in using your training and experience to sell services and products that will prevent the spread of infectious diseases? Life Safety Services, a national leader in the safety industry, is seeking a goal-oriented, self-motivated and intellectually curious individual to sell UVC light installation and other infection control services and products across the U.S. The individual who assumes the Sales Representative, Infection Control position will report to the Director of Sales Management. The position is based in Louisville, Kentucky.

Life Safety Services inspects, installs and repairs fire dampers, fire doors, photoluminescent egress marking and firestop material in existing buildings and in new construction projects, in addition to installing UVC lighting in healthcare and other commercial facilities throughout the U.S.
Life Safety Services is a subsidiary of LSS Holdings, Inc. Other subsidiaries of LSS Holdings are Hughes Environmental, which provides combustible dust removal, dry ice blasting, commercial air duct cleaning services and facility cleaning throughout the U.S., and Safenetix, an online safety training company that equips clients with the skills they need to ensure inspection, installation and the best safety practices for facilities are carried out properly.

Develop customer base in the healthcare and commercial markets by establishing and maintaining relationships through a combination of networking, cold calling, and other sales and marketing activities necessary for developing a healthy sales pipeline.
Maintain correspondence for each account in the company’s contact management database.
Make presentations on UVC light installation and other infection control services and products to nurses and other medical staff and facility managers and represent the company at trade shows and conferences.
Listen intently to customers and report customer’s needs to other departments so that they can all work together to ensure 100% client satisfaction.
Complete weekly sales reports and meet with management on a regular basis to ensure performance, strategy and results.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in the infection control industry, serve as a subject matter expert and use industry knowledge to communicate effectively with customers and with other departments.
May participate in planning and implementing a marketing and sales strategy for infection control products and services.
May work with members of the Operations and Sales teams to troubleshoot issues related to products and services
Minimum Requirements:
RN with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Ability to understand complex scientific concepts and effectively communicate these concepts to clients who are medical professionals as well as to a wide range of other individuals with varying degrees of knowledge
Familiarity with Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) conditions and methods of improvement
A desire to learn about the company’s infection control products and services and how to sell them to targeted market segments
Strong ability to prospect for leads, qualify leads and close sales
Positive and energetic phone skills
Excellent interpersonal skills to quickly build trust/rapport with people from a variety of backgrounds
Engaging presentation skills
Outstanding listening skills
Ability to develop a plan and methodically work through it to achieve a goal
Good oral and written communication skills
Good Microsoft Word and Excel skills
Ability to travel
Experience working in nursing, medicine or engineering helpful
Previous sales training is a plus but not mandatory
