MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Kentucky Certification appropriate to the grade level and curricular assignment [Math]
2. Experience and preparation required by the Board

Teachers new to Thomas Jefferson are provided additional supports with a full-time veteran Resource Teacher Coach with intensive mentoring and year-long induction, as well as a content support Resource Teacher.  On the most recent state TELL Survey, 94% of TJMS teachers report feeling very supported in their job and a high majority of the entire staff report leadership is trusted, strong, and supportive.  Dual certified desirable.
