SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains, repairs, and replaces refrigeration, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems for the school District
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – MECHANICAL JOURNEYMAN, IB/GRADE 11

1. High School Diploma or G.E.D.
2. Completed an apprenticeship or equivalent combination of experience and training
3. Five (5) years of experience in commercial heating, air conditioning, and controls
4. Refrigeration Handling Certification Type I or Type II
5. Valid Kentucky HVAC Journeyman license
6. Valid Driver's license
7. Effective communication skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN III, IB, GRADE 9

1. High School Diploma or G.E.D.
2. Five (5) years of experience in commercial heating, air conditioning, and controls
3. Refrigeration Handling Certification Type I or Type II
4. Valid driver’s license
5. Effective communication skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN II- IB,GRADE 7

1. High School Diploma or G.E.D.
2. Three (3) years of experience in commercial heating, air conditioning, and controls
3. Valid driver’s license
4. Effective communication skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN I- IB, GRADE 5

1. High School Diploma or G.E.D.
2. Valid driver’s license
3. Effective communication skills
