The National Center for Families Learning (NCFL), a private nonprofit organization located in Louisville, KY, is seeking a Coordinator, Professional Learning. The Coordinator, Professional Learning, is responsible for providing operational and technical support for professional learning efforts, including managing various digital platforms, supporting event logistics, and coordinating national professional learning initiatives. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of key events, such as national webinars and the Families Learning Conference, and optimizing knowledge management of NCFL’s professional learning efforts.  The successful candidate must reside in the Louisville, KY area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties include but are not limited to the following:

Digital Platform Management and Support:

  • Coordinate knowledge management and technical support across digital platforms that drive NCFL’s professional learning efforts including Salesforce, Alchemer, Canvas, Zoom, and Monday.com.
  • Ensure effective integration and use of these platforms for program tracking, registration, data collection, communication, and overall learning management.
  • Troubleshoot platform-related issues and provide user support to internal teams and external partners as needed.

Professional Learning Event Support:

  • Support the planning and execution of professional learning events, including webinars, trainings, and those related to the Family Learning Community Network.
  • Assist in the logistical coordination for events, including scheduling, managing registration, and ensuring technical set-up (virtual or in-person).
  • Coordinate event materials, communication, and follow-up processes to ensure effective engagement with participants.

National Webinar Series Coordination:

  • Manage logistics and communications for the national webinar series, including event scheduling, speaker coordination, participant registration, and platform management.
  • Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of all webinar-related tasks, including post-event follow-up.

Families Learning Conference Planning:

  • Support the planning and coordination of the annual Families Learning Conference, including managing the event budget, timeline, vendor, and speaker logistics.
  • Coordinate site searches for future years’ events and handle contracts and negotiations with selected venues.
  • Lead efforts in speaker scheduling and support, ensuring a seamless experience for all presenters.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must reside in or around Louisville, KY.
  • An unwavering belief that all families want the best for their children and deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, event management, communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in coordinating events, professional learning, or project management.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Alchemer, Canvas, Zoom, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing budgets and timelines for large-scale events is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel approximately 25% of time including occasional evenings and weekends.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged period of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
  • Communicate with others to exchange information.
  • The ability to use hands and fingers to manipulate keyboard including some reaching requiring consistent use of hands and arms.
  • Ability to travel.

Salary range $40,000-$50,000
