The Purchasing Department is responsible for the cost-effective and expeditious procurement of goods and services. The Purchasing Department, along with the Receiving Department, help ensure that equipment, supply, and service needs are accomplished in a professional manner that also adheres to all legal requirements and best business practices.
The Receiving Clerk will assist in the receipt and identification of all Purchase Order-related packages. Responsibilities include checking contents of the packages against the PO and vendor packing slips, assisting in the distribution of packages to production, and obtaining and maintaining all related receiving documentation, including the associated filing system. The Receiving Clerk will also assist with special projects and inventory management as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent required. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer service skills, and good problem-solving abilities. A high level of organizational skills is required. Must be flexible and willing to take on additional assignments as required by the Receiving and Purchasing Department.
Must be able to lift to 40 pounds. Must be able to engage in a full range of motion, stand for extended periods, bend, push, pull, and reach above the shoulders.
