 We seek a professional and experienced Program Manager to support LHCC leadership in the management of efforts to enhance the economic development of our region through programs to expand healthcare innovation and entrepreneurship. 


The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: 

• Utilization of Aging2.0 network for LHCC initiatives, including support for chapters 

• Leading LHCC’s annual Global Innovation Search and CareTech Pitch event as part of OPTIMIZE 

• Serve as the primary point of contact for meeting the needs of the startup community and companies selected as CareTech finalists and winners. This will include working with companies chosen to be CareTech finalists to ensure metrics are being achieved and tracked, 

• Supporting mentoring meetings with the Chairman’s Circle and “Champions,” and utilization of LHCC CRM for metric tracking 

• Work directly with a variety of regional and national early-stage healthcare innovators both inside of Aging2.0 network and outside of it, executing workshops, training, coaching, and mentoring that help them bring their ideas to market: o Plan and implement innovation and entrepreneurship support programs focused on the healthcare and aging industry leveraging the resources of LHCC and UofL – Including Chairman’s Circle, quarterly workshops, speakers’ series, etc. 

o Develop and manage digital portal and intake forms, facilitating connections with innovators and entrepreneurs 

• Manage multiple projects, including project plan, KPIs, reporting, and data management 

• Support grants funded programs 


• Extensive connections in entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems, Experience with startups 

• Experience with website and social media development. 

• Proficient in videoconferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Webex), MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat. 

• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. 

• Teamwork – the ability to work with others, serve others, help others, lead others, mentor others, take directions from others in the interest of moving process and programs forward to the desired outcome. 

• Interpersonal – can build effective, strong working relationships with employees, colleagues, management, and vendors through trust, communication, and credibility.

• Project Management – ability to delegate and follow up. 

• Work Ethic – motivated, diligent, industrious, and persistent in the workplace, stays on tasks to completion. 


• Undergraduate degree in related discipline and/or an M.B.A. qualification. 

• 3 years’ experience in project/program management.
