POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining the security solution sets to better enable continuous development and integration, internally developed applications, and application programming interface (APIs). This includes ensuring interoperability and assessing vulnerabilities across multiple workflows, departments, and companies, as well external suppliers, and customers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT or Information Security required. (Relevant course work accepted)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with automation tools (ex. ITSM, Application scanners) preferred
• Understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework preferred.
• Understanding of application and API development standards required.
• Experience with networking/application development preferred.
• Ability to quickly learn new software systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Development and continuous improvement of application and API processes by increasing software quality, security, and availability.
• Deployment and maintenance of solutions to identify vulnerabilities in internally developed applications and software.
• Architect, implement, and continuously improve solutions to improve continuous integration/ continuous delivery (CI/CD) lifecycles.
• Analyze and report on risks identified by solution sets.
• Drive behavioral and test-driven development practices.
• Manage vulnerabilities associated with open-source code.
• Responsible for tracking and managing vulnerabilities identified in applications to resolution.
• Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required.
• Model and foster behaviors that support the Bank’s values and corporate culture creating an atmosphere of trust, cooperation, accountability, and dedication to the organization.
• Willingly perform all other duties and projects as assigned.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Self-motivated and work well in a team environment.
• Must have effective communication skills for interaction with bank associates, vendors, and other security personnel.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, and distance vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Travel between Republic Banking facilities may be required.
• Flexible work schedule that will include some evenings and weekends.
• Stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and statutory and regulatory changes.
