POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
The Managing Director of Cloud and Data Center Strategy is responsible for all aspects of technology service delivery within defined technology service areas: Infrastructure, Desktop Support, User Support, Enterprise Systems, and Telecommunications. This includes setting strategic direction and leading execution of strategy for Cloud, Enterprise Architecture, and other emerging technologies in related areas. In addition, this position is responsible for ensuring all of Republic’s technology services decisions support the organization’s strategic goals and financial objectives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the Technology field required.
• Minimum of 10 years’ leadership experience with the ability to motivate and provide professional development to a team of direct reports required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop strategy and operating model (organization, talent, employees, vendors, processes, technologies) that addresses business needs, and is synergistic with the overall IT strategy.
• Manages the delivery of technology services to the Bank to ensure defined service levels are met or exceeded.
• Provides leadership and direction to technical managers and staff.
• Ensures the security, availability, and integrity of business systems and data.
• Defines the Bank’s overall technology standards.
• Bring thought leadership to application team and various practices across the organization.
• Actively seeks to implement “best practices” and drive improvements across service areas.
• Communicates effectively and clearly with internal customers, both verbally and in writing.
• Completes business initiatives utilizing sound project management techniques and tools.
• Acts as the liaison between the Information Technology organization and respective business units to ensure that business requirements are well-communicated, understood, and satisfied.
• Assists the manager with technology planning and strategy development.
• Bring knowledge around high availability, scalability, resilience, performance, and cloud security requirement in the cloud.
• Ensures accuracy of the computing asset inventory.
• Ensures timely resolution of technical issues.
• Reviews on a regular basis departmental policies, procedures, methodologies and processes for effectiveness and appropriateness for the current environment. Recommends and implements changes when circumstances warrant.
• Performs or facilitates periodic audits of technical services processes, computing assets, and service delivery.
• Work with end-to-end architects, IT leaders, business, and IT support teams to develop and maintain technical strategies and roadmaps that align with the strategic direction to ensure that capabilities required by the business are enabled.
• Know compliance responsibilities and particular requirements affecting your area of responsibility, incorporate these requirements into your business processes and procedures, perform ongoing monitoring and periodic self-assessments including reporting and corrective action as needed, and assure appropriate training to associates regarding these responsibilities and procedures.
• Model and foster behaviors that support the Bank’s values and corporate culture creating an atmosphere of trust, cooperation, accountability, and dedication to the organization.
• Willingly perform all other duties and projects as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, and distance vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Bank’s guidelines, policies and procedures and all applicable state and federal laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and the overall development of associates; coaching and mentoring while providing challenging opportunities to enhance career growth; planning, assigning, and directing work; setting expectations and appraising performance; recognizing and rewarding associates or recommending disciplinary action as appropriate; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and helping to build a positive team culture.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Travel between Republic Banking facilities is required.
• Occasional out-of-town travel is required.
• Flexible work schedule that will include some evenings and weekends.
• Stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and statutory and regulatory changes.
