Scope of Responsibilities
Assists the principal in managing school activities, including supervision of classified support personnel. Coordinates such activities as special events, transportation, and building maintenance.
Ideal candidate would have knowledge of JCPS attendance protocols and procedures, MUNIS, payroll, and Safe Crisis Management training.
- Sixty (60) credit hours in a college/university program
- Experience in public school or a business of similar size and complexity
- Proficient in computer, telephone, and alarm systems
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and manage conflict
The Grace James Academy School Administrative Manager (SAM) will serve as a member of the core administrative team with the school principals. Duties in this position will include the responsibilities as defined by the JCPS job description. In addition to these duties, the SAM will also serve as the manager of operations for Grace James Academy. The SAM position at Grace James Academy will also assume the duties of bookkeeper as stated in the JCPS job description. in maintaining the efficient operations of the school the Grace James Academy SAM will collaborate with the core administrative team.
