Talis Group’s client is an innovative industry leader in manufacturing.  This growing manufacturer (with multiple plants) is seeking to hire a Accountant for their Jeffersonville, IN facility.  This role is crucial to ensuring accurate financial processes & reports while collaborating with other departments.  This is a full-time, direct hire with a salary range of $60-75k, with full benefits and generous PTO. Highlighted Duties:

Accounts Receivable: Manage & maintain accurate AR records. Reconcile AR accounts & resolve any discrepancies. Analyze & report on AR aging & collections.
Accounts Payable: Manage & maintain accurate AP records, ensuring timely payment. Process & record vendor invoices, payments, & credits. Analyze & report on AP aging & vendor performance.
General ledger and bank account reconciliation.
Support inventory control efforts, ensuring accurate tracking and management of inventory levels.
Work closely with the Plant Manager on-site and report to the off-site Finance Director.

Highlighted Requirements:

Associate or Bachelors’ degree in Accounting and/or Finance preferred.
3+ years of progressive manufacturing accounting experience is required.
Understand and follow GAAP.
Proficiency in ERP systems required, preferably Microsoft Dynamics/Navision.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel.)
Proficiency with advanced features in Excel required (MUST know pivot tables and formulas.)
Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
