Boutique firm handling Corporate Law, Residential and Commercial Real Estate seeks an Associate Attorney to join their team. This has been a fast growing law firm over the last 10 years, with the firm and its partners honored as finalists for the Rising Star and Professional of the Year Awards. This position will support a busy practice in the Commercial and Residential Real Estate area, allowing the right candidate to quickly build a practice in this area. Position does have a potential career path to Partner level and offers big firm salary with attractive billable hours – 1500. This firm does not handle closings after hours.

Highlighted Duties:

Provide timely legal consultation to our clients which include: real estate developers, property owners, landlords, banks and lenders throughout the region
Perform commercial or residential closings
Negotiate, draft and review commercial or residential leases
Provide commercial real estate foreclosure services to lender / clients
Review and draft construction contracts
Research and advise on eminent domain issues on behalf of landlord / clients
Research, advise and prepare property tax appeals
Review, draft and negotiate purchase agreements
Draft leasehold mortgages, participation agreements and other documents for banks and lenders
Handle construction loans for new or expanding developments
Prepare and review loan documents for borrowers or banks
Prepare mortgages and assignments of rent

Highlighted Requirements:

Indiana license required or ability to obtain license quickly
Kentucky license desirable
3-5 years of broad real estate experience, either resident or commercial
Seeking candidate with strong academic background
Must have proven record of excellent client relations
