JOB REQUIREMENTS

Highlighted Duties:Serve as point of contact for employee relation matters and labor contracts
Maintain current knowledge of laws and regulations related to EEO, affirmative action, collective bargaining, labor relations and human resources
Work directly with managers and supervisors to provide HR guidance on employee development, succession planning, coaching and discipline
Conduct internal employee investigations in accordance with labor and employment law and policy
Serve as employee advocate to develop and maintain a highly engaged and productive workforce
Assists with preparation of documents and records required for collective bargaining agreements, contract negotiations and meetings
Ensure business compliance with HR policies and programs
Assist with candidate recruiting when needed
Develop solutions and help create a positive organizational culture, in line with company values and business priorities
Various HR projects as assigned

Highlighted RequirementsBachelor’s degree in human resources preferred or professional HR experience equivalent
5+ years of progressive hands-on experience in human resources
Experience in union environment and manufacturing required
Experience with collective bargaining, negotiations, and consultations with labor unions
Ability to demonstrate sufficient business knowledge to be effective in contributing to critical people decisions
Experience recruiting and onboarding new hires
HRIS, Excel and SAP experience will be needed
Current knowledge of relevant state and federal employment laws and regulations
Ability to develop and maintain a positive culture for employees
Excellent written, oral, listening, presentation, influence, and interpersonal skills
Must have exceptional time management, problem solving and critical thinking skills
Motivated; self-directed individual
