This is a small engineering firm with large local clients in multiple industries and a team culture. You will develop expertise on a wide variety of equipment and controls systems with little or no travel required and typically only 40 hours a week expected ( light OT or Saturday work might be necessary on occasion) . Full benefits available and salary offered in the $80-$100k depending on experience. Degree not required.
Prepare, lead and coordinate project objectives
Implement controls for new processes within customer systems
Troubleshoot controls for existing customer systems
Work with Drafters to develop schematics for instrumentation and control systems
Assist with onsite commissioning of new equipment and plant processes
Implement basic PLC programs per customer specifications
Work closely with Customers and Contractors to ensure project is complete per client specifications and on budget
Review electrical designs and as-built drawings for accuracy
Provide site engineering support during commissioning or as needed
Associates or Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or equivalent preferred
MUST have 2+ years of PLC programming
Experience commissioning new equipment
Design and development of instrumentation and control systems
Familiarity with any PLC’s (Allen-Bradley, GE/Emerson, etc.)
Familiarity with any HMI application development (FTView, Proficy, Complicity, IFix, Wonderware, etc.)
Ability to read and review electrical drawing and schematics
AutoCAD a plus but not required
Must have excellent communication skills
Must be able to work independently
Clients are primarily local so little to no travel required
