Talis Group’s client is an Award winning, International law firm with an office in Louisville. This rapidly growing firm is seeking a temp-to-hire Legal Billing Specialist to support the Billing Team. This position will ensure billing information is correctly set up for new clients and work closely with the Attorneys and Clients to handle billing questions or discrepancies. This position will also include reporting, research and special projects. This is a hybrid work schedule Monday through Friday with 3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week remote. Day shift hours have flexible options between 8:30 and 6:00 p.m. This position will work some overtime during year end activities. Firm has a large variety of benefits and 4 weeks PTO in first year if hired. Temp pay rate: $20-$24 based on experience.
Manage the eBilling site and e-billing vendor sites to ensure client setups are completed accurately and invoice rejections are resolved in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies related to all aspects of electronic billing.
Research and respond to client inquiries.
Prepare standard and ad hoc reports utilizing various applications and reporting tools.
Work closely with client e-billing contacts to ensure accurate and timely set-ups.
Provide recommendations and feedback to e-billing management to improve the billingprocesses.
Review all e-billing requirements and client billing guidelines.
Effective communication with all levels of the business and the firm’s clients regarding e-billing.
Work closely with the International team as needed on e-billing issues.
Support Collections activities regarding e-billing issues if required.
High School Diploma/GED required.
2-3 years of e-billing experience required.
Experience working in a law firm or other professional services firm preferred.
Knowledge of 3E and eBilling vendor websites is a plus!
Prior experience with third-party vendor e-billing sites strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Word and Excel required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be detailed oriented and have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to be organized, prioritize workload, and utilize resources to work efficiently.
