Talis Group’s client is a highly successful metal fabrication plant in business for more than 30 years in the Louisville area. Company has recently invested in new technology and automation and plans more investments in the future. They are seeking a Manufacturing Manager with excellent leadership skills to oversee all of Production and Logistics for this local plant. This position will drive culture change, implement continuous improvement efforts and redesign the work schedules to eliminate unnecessary overtime. The company offers excellent salary at $120-$150k for the right candidate along with solid benefits, 401K and bonus structure.

Highlighted Duties:

Develop, coach and empower Supervisors to successfully lead their departments
Oversee and direct all production and logistics activities in the plant
Monitor performance and develop and implement recommendations and action plans for improvements and efficiencies
Lead daily production meetings to ensure optimum material, resources, staffing and work flow.
Lead, direct and manage all safety initiatives in the plant, ensuring company and all regulatory policies are strictly maintained
Assist with development and manage implementation of business plan, budgets, and company goals
Lead with consistency and accountability, setting expectations and providing follow-up
Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.

Highlighted Requirements:

Candidate must have at least 5-10 years in metal fabrication
Proven leadership skills with ability to engage diverse workforce
Ability to lead and develop employees
Must be collaborative with good problem solving skills
Must have managed multiple shift production
Experience with shipping and receiving preferred
