Talis Group’s client, is a Louisville Litigation law firm seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full time direct hire position with them. This client has an excellent reputation and generous benefits package. This position supports attorneys by reviewing and summarizing medical records and providing needed clinical expertise. It is an administrative role. Training on how to create these summaries per their needs and other needed skills of a legal or paralegal nature will be provided.

Highlighted Duties:

Index, review and create chronologies from medical record reviews
Create medical summaries for attorney review
Assist in interviewing parties and obtaining medical experts involved in cases.
Research and conduct investigative medical expert information.
Research and review pertinent medical literature regarding case issues.
Assist with medical legal documentation preparations for insurance requirements in legal and medical litigation processes.

Highlighted Requirements:

Surgery assistance experience, Post Op, PACU, ICU, Med-Surg experience required.
An active Registered Nurse License and in good standing required
BSN desired but not required.
Prior legal consulting experience a plus, but not required.
