Talis Group’s client is an esteemed non-profit organization with their global office based in Louisville, KY. They are seeking to hire a versatile Temporary Payroll Specialist to enhance their HR dept. and support their payroll operations for 1-2 months. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate & efficient bi-weekly processing of payroll for over 500 employees across their diverse agencies. In addition, this role will be responsible for handling benefits disbursements & maintaining a responsive line of communication with HR colleagues, Managers, and employees to address any payroll inquiries.

The hourly pay rate is $30-35/hour. The hours are 8-5, Monday -Friday, and has a hybrid schedule (you can work remote 2 days a week.)

Highlighted Duties:

Execute bi-weekly payrolls with meticulous precision using ADP Workforce Now for 500 employees.
Handle benefits disbursements and ensure accurate processing.
Maintain a responsive line of communication with HR colleagues, managers, and employees to address any payroll inquiries.
Collaborate with the seasoned payroll specialist to develop more efficient workflows and leverage the robust capabilities of new ADP modules.
Participate in the evolution of ADP into our comprehensive HRIS system, contributing to system efficiency and integration efforts.
Utilize the ASANA project management tool to aid in system enhancement project management.

Highlighted Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in payroll processing, with deep knowledge of ADP Workforce Now.
Experience working in a non-profit or multi-agency environment preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Familiarity with the ASANA project management tool is a definite plus!
Must demonstrate a keen eye for detail and the ability to meticulously review and analyze payroll information.
Must demonstrate a strong commitment to confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee information and payroll data.
