Talis Group’s client is a regional commercial real estate development company seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join its team in Louisville, KY. The paralegal will assist the CEO in commercial real estate development. This developer specializes in zoning, permitting, environmental assessments, site planning and construction.

Company client recently adjusted the salary for this position and would consider anyone qualified with in or close to the range listed. Benefits also include ownership options in the company.

Highlighted Duties:

Reviewing surveys, title commitments and exception documents.
Preparing documents relating to a variety of real estate, loan and construction matters, based on consultation with business clients and review by attorneys, including but not limited to agreements, leases, and standard construction contracts.
Preparing ancillary real estate transaction documents such as escrow instructions, deeds, easements, owner’s affidavits, closing certificates, entitlements, etc.
Providing general assistance in real estate, lending, construction and leasing transactions.
Proof reading legal documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Analyzing and summarizing documents, zoning ordinances and statutes for review by attorneys.
Working closely with attorneys to resolve a variety of day-to-day issues and supporting a broad range of commercial transactions and projects.
Performing legal due diligence.
Highlighted Requirements:

5-10 years of commercial real estate paralegal experience
Professional references required for consideration.
Strong organizational and prioritizing skills required.
Ideal candidate is able to hit the ground running with little supervision.
