Talis Group’s client is a global leader in the legal industry representing corporations, financial institutions, and governmental entities. Our client is hiring Research Analyst Assistant for their Louisville, Kentucky office. This position will be responsible for researching and reviewing legal conflicts of interest issues, database maintenance, writing reports and data management. This opportunity has three different core work schedules available. Some include premium pay for this direct hire position. Company has a professional corporate culture, opportunities for advancement and a large benefits package that includes 401k and 4 weeks of paid time off . Great opportunity for an entry-level professional with research, business, writing or other professional skill sets. Salary is $37,000-$41,000 plus premiums for evening schedules.

Highlighted Duties:

Assisting the Conflicts Supervisor and other members of the New Business Conflicts and Compliance Department.
Assist with maintenance and update of the conflicts database.
Research corporate history of clients and parties related to the former and new client work.
Review of conflicts of interest issues related to potential new business.
Respond to lawyer and business services employee requests and perform conflicts of interest searches.
Become a key contributor to ongoing process improvement.


Highlighted Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in the following majors: Business, English, Political Science, Interdisciplinary studies, International Relations or similar desired.
1-2 years of experience in research, business support OR internships in business, operations, research or similar desired.
Strong analytical skills, communication skills (verbal and written).
Experience handling multiple projects at once while adhering to deadlines.
Must have strong computer skills working with various software programs.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in highly sensitive matters.
Position will require overtime as needed.
Professional references, assessments and criminal background check required.
