A large multi-state corporation in the healthcare industry is searching for a dynamic Senior Vice President of Finance, Planning & Analysis to join the corporate team in their Louisville, KY headquarters. This new leadership position reports to the CFO and assists with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and capital investment reviews for this growth mode organization. Senior Vice President will lead, mentor and develop a team working collaboratively with cross-functional divisions providing financial expertise for strategic planning and company growth. Highlighted Duties:
Serve as a valued strategic business partner to executive leadership
FP&A presentations to C-Suite and Board level audiences
Develop operating and financial plan for strategic plan
Lead long-range and annual planning processes
GAAP compliance (federal, state, industry requirements and required reporting)
Develop and streamline KPIs, metrics, and dashboards
Drive budgeting process and forecasting
Work with division managers to achieve organization’s financial goals
Manage, develop and mentor the FP&A team
Lead the FP&A team to conduct variance analysis for executive leadership
Identify short and long-term business plans
Develop and maintain policies and systems for FP&A
Manages change with positive leadership, communication and plan of action
Highlighted Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or similar (MBA or CPA a plus)
8+ years financial planning and analysis experience including team leadership/motivation
Experience managing a budget and the forecasting process
Hands on FP&A leadership role in the healthcare industry at a large organization preferred
Excellent analytical and modeling skills
Expert knowledge of ERP systems and Excel (database querying)
Solid knowledge of GAAP
A proven record of driving change and improving processes for profitable growth
Thrives in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment
Excellence verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to effectively convey information to organization’s leadership
