Talis Group’s client is a leading manufacturer dedicated to innovation and excellence
They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tooling Design Engineer with expertise in thermoforming or injection molding processes to join their dynamic team
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading a team of dedicated professionals, contributing to the design and development of cutting-edge tooling solutions, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency
Company offers full benefit package, 401k and 40 hour work
Salary range: $90-$110k

Highlighted Duties:
Lead and mentor a team of tooling design professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Design, develop and optimize thermoforming and CNC Router Tooling
Develop 3D models in SolidWorks and 2D drawings
Use CAM Software to develop CNC tool paths
Oversee the entire tooling design process, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints and driving continuous improvement.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, facilitating their professional development.
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to incorporate the latest technologies into tooling design processes.

Highlighted Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required in Mechanical Engineering or MET
Minimum of 3 years of experience in tooling design, with a focus on thermoforming or injection molding processes.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is required
Proficiency in CAM and 3D software
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
