Company is experiencing dynamic growth and as a result searching for a Vendor Management Director to join their Louisville, KY team. Reporting to the COO, the Director will develop strategic partnerships with vendors across the U.S. to better serve the customers. Position will also lead a team that works closely with the vendors on a daily basis. Company offers well-rounded employee benefits and market competitive compensation. Highlighted Duties:

Lead, develop, coach and support a vendor solution team, ensuring best practices
Oversee entire vendor network, including equipment vendors and subcontractors
Work across the organization to affect change by providing cost efficiencies, cost savings and collaborative vendor partners.
Develop improvements and key performance metrics that optimize vendor management capabilities and performance
Manage vendor risk, driving vendor performance and building strong vendor partnerships that will promote innovation
Build strategic partnerships with industry leading companies in the vendor network
Drive continuous process improvement throughout the department
Ensure profitable growth for the department

Highlighted Requirements:

Prefer Bachelor’s Degree
Proven ability to build strategic relationships with a variety of companies
Must have experience leading and developing staff
Must have strong negotiation skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Must have excellent communication skills
