Job Summary

As a Rehabilitation RN, you will collaborate daily with physicians, therapists, and case managers to achieve the best outcome for patients who have experienced life altering events. In this role you will ensure appropriate plans of care are developed and implemented to meet patient needs for rehabilitation.

Area of Focus

• 8 months – 18 years oldWorking with patients who are receiving rehab for the following reasons:
• Transplants
• Neurological disorders (Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Autism)
• Brain or Spinal injuries
• Multi-trauma accidents
• 18 years +Working with patients who are receiving rehab for the following reasons:
• Stroke
• Respiratory
• Burns
• Amputees
• Cardio
• Multi-trauma accidents
• Brain or Spinal injuries
• Transplants

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kentucky Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date
• 2 years of Med Surg RN experience
• BLS required from American Heart Association.
• Associate degree from accredited nursing program
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) accredited by the American Heart Association
• Must have pediatric experience
