Job Overview

Coordinates capital projects (capital requests, purchases, installations), coordinates moves, coordinates maintenance, coordinates equipment/furniture expenses and for UofL Health and UofL Hospital Tenants.

Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of a director, this position will provide coordination, including:

Coordinates the installation of all purchased furniture, equipment, and furnishings for projects.

Coordinates moves associated with project work, order signs for projects, and help all the owner’s direct vendors with procurement and accounts payable.

Work with end users during phase transition and during moves. Ensures that all proper signage is installed and deliver top notch customer service to my internal and external customers

Coordinates moves and work with end users during phase transition and during moves. Work with movers and coordinate disposal of FFE. Coordinates moves and installations of items for supply chain (the dock), engineering, and other departments.

Manages facility maintenance of furniture and furnishings. Makes some decisions with vendors regarding what and how to repair items

Assembles capital requests for clinical departments and operational departments. Keep detailed logs of all capital expenses for finance. Assist all capital vendors with POs and invoicing process and questions

Purchases equipment and furnishing for departments – through their expense accounts. Manages most capital equipment buying and assist vendors with POs and invoicing

Tenant management facilitates moves, signage, and requests for maintenance, equipment, and services

Meets regularly with design teams and leadership and provides status updates

Maintains compliance with all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct

Demonstrates a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times

Maintains confidentiality and protect sensitive data at all times

Adheres to organizational and department specific safety standards and guidelines

Works collaboratively and support efforts of team members

Demonstrates exceptional customer service and interacts effectively with physicians, patients, residents, visitors, staff and the broader health care community

Complies with HIPAA privacy and security requirements to maintain confidentiality at all times

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree Architecture, design, constructions management or related Healthcare facility field (preferred)

Experience:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience working in Healthcare facilities and project management (required)
  • 5 to 10 years of experience working in Healthcare facilities and project management (preferred)

Licensure:

  • RA or PE (preferred) -licensed by the Kentucky Board of Architects or have an active National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Certificate, Licensed by Kentucky Board of Engineers & Land Surveyors (or state equivalent)

Certification

  • CID, NCIDQ (preferred) b by the Kentucky Board of Architects or The Council for Interior Design Qualification
