Highway Construction Laborer

Laborers will perform various tasks within a team. Typically, laborers will be prepping a job site, moving materials, and providing support to Equipment Operators and/or their Team Leaders. Laborers should be in a constant training program to promote their skills and abilities to graduate up to an Equipment Operator and beyond. Laborers will report to Team Leaders regarding their daily tasks and projects. Responsibilities Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and storage. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment. Perform effective traffic control layout procedures. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and tools. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and address any concerns. Requirements Previous experience in construction or related field preferred but not required. Familiarity with operating equipment is a plus. Physical stamina and endurance to perform manual labor tasks in outdoor environments. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
