Description:
Candidates must be flu vaccinated.
Position is located within a rehabilitation unit.
The facility department focuses on traumatic brain injury and cerebrovascular accidents.
This role is for a Registered Nurse with specialization in rehabilitation and neuro care.
There is one opening available for this position.
Shift hours are from 7 PM to 7 AM.
Guaranteed weekly hours are 36.
Weekend hours are 6:30 AM to 7 PM and include every third weekend.
There are no call requirements for this role.
Experience with trach care and G-tubes is essential.
Preferred experience includes Med-Surg.
The unit has 28 beds and a typical patient ratio of 1:8 during night shifts.
The equipment used includes tube feeding systems, ventilators, trach care supplies, Alaris IV Pumps, Hoyer lifts, Kangaroo pumps, negative pressure wound therapy, and suction devices.
The electronic medical record system used is Cerner and ITW.
The ideal candidate should be compassionate, have strong communication skills, and be willing to educate patients and their families.
A self-learner is preferred for this position.
Scrubs are required, and the designated color is Galaxy Blue.
Unacceptable attire includes hoodies, t-shirts, and sweatshirts outside of the uniform.
