TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Louisville, Kentucky, 40207!

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Experience: 2 years of inpatient RN experience, telemetry experience
License: Registered Nurse (KY license)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Must-Have:
- Two (2) years of acute care RN experience
- Epic experience

Description:
A professional nurse is accountable for the care of a group of patients.
The Registered Nurse (RN) focuses on safe, effective, patient- and family-centered care, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes.
The RN is responsible for assisting in maintaining a financially stable unit and promoting his/her own development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.
The RN supervises licensed and non-licensed staff members.
Applying the caring processes of the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care, the RN is responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care.
The RN emphasizes patient and family comfort, education, and satisfaction.
The RN utilizes educational and professional experiences in the delivery of quality care and mentoring/precepting of staff.

Job Responsibilities:
Assessment: Performs assessments and reassessments per policy and procedure or as warranted by patient condition.
Demonstrates ability to make sound independent decisions.

Development & Implementation: Initiates, prioritizes, and implements the plan of care.
Reviews and revises the plan as indicated.
Collaborates with patient/family and interdisciplinary services.
Utilizes resources appropriately to support the needs of the organization, patient, and family.

Evaluation: Monitors and documents response to clinical interventions.

Education: Facilitates, coordinates, provides, and evaluates education specific to patient/family needs.
Ensures education is appropriate to the care, treatment, and services provided during their stay and at discharge.

Leadership: Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel.
Functions as a mentor/preceptor.
Demonstrates, encourages, and facilitates teamwork.
Identifies and communicates opportunities for improvement.
Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts.
Implements practice changes and complies with regulatory standards.
Participates in the Practice Governance model.
