Travel Nurse RN – Telemetry – $47 per hour in Louisville, KY

Requirements:

• Must hold active RN license in practicing state.
• 1-2 years Telemetry or Step-Down experience preferred.
• Proficient in EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia ID.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required).
• Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills.
• Experience with EMR and telemetry equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Patient Monitoring:
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and identify arrhythmias.
  • Perform ongoing patient assessments and vital checks.

• Interventions:
  • Administer medications, IV drips, and treatments.
  • Document all assessments and interventions in EMR.

• Communication & Safety:
  • Promptly communicate all patient changes to providers.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Educate patients and families on care and discharge.
