Alex is the Assistant Director of Admissions for UofL's Brandeis School of Law and is a board member at the Louisville German American Club. She was born in Louisville, grew up in Southern KY and moved back to Lou in 2003 for college. She has deep roots in Louisville and has always considered it the “hometown of her heart” from visiting often as a child. She is great at making connections and enjoys sharing the things she loves about Louisville such as the music scene ranging from the orchestra to the local bands like My Morning Jacket and Jack Harlow. Alex enjoys volunteering at local events, often as a bartender. Her favorite neighborhood is where she calls home, Germantown, and she especially enjoys hanging around Goss Avenue, the Barrett Corridor, Logan Street Market, and Paristown Pointe.

Jerry is the Co-Founder and Head Brewer for Against the Grain Brewery, a member of the Master Brewers Association of America, and a global karaoke champ!. He was born and raised in Kansas, then moved to Louisville in 2003. Jerry says that having lived in Louisville for over two decades, he is excited to champion this city by expanding his knowledge and discovering new things about the city to share with others. He has volunteered with Love City, Louisville Grows, and his company, ATG, frequently works with non-profit organizations. He has three children in various schools and is involved in school events. He likes going out to eat and drink, visiting galleries, attending concerts, and hiking.

Aaron was born and raised in Elizabethtown, KY but moved to Louisville for college in August 2013 and has been here ever since! He truly loves living in Louisville and feels it has something to offer for everyone, with both feelings of the big city or suburb lifestyles without substituting great restaurants, entertainment, and hospitality. Aaron is very involved with the community, and passionate about addressing issues the city faces. He’s a member of Young Professionals Association of Louisville (YPAL) and serves as an ambassador, Metro United Way LINC, and Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) in addition to being a Certified Tourism Ambassador. Aaron enjoys spending Twilight Thursdays and Saturdays at Churchill Downs for live races and live music, trying our diverse food scene, attending neighborhood fests in NuLu and the Highlands, and grabbing a drink at any of our many bourbon bars.

Originally from a small town in Missouri, John planted his roots in Louisville upon graduating college in 2006. On a typical weekend, John and his family enjoy spending time outdoors or taking advantage of the the multitude of recreational activities. But on the first Saturday in May, you can be certain that John will be at the Kentucky Derby, betting on the horses with a mint julep in hand! John is also part of the team that created Sherby, the annual Derby Eve music and food festival at the intersection of Sherwood Avenue and Bardstown Road. As of 2022, Sherby was in its 10th year!

Tosha is originally from a small town in Indiana but moved here for college in 2010, and has found her favorite parts of the city to be the food options, the parks, and the performing arts scene. She coaches the dance team at Butler Traditional High School, and frequently attends shows at the Kentucky Center & Actor's Theater along with many of the local music venues. She volunteers with Junior Achievement teaching about entrepreneurship and coaches other young professionals on career building, professional development opportunities, and resume design. She wants to help others realize the unique opportunities and offerings that Louisville has to offer, and show them what she loves most about the city.

Kelly has absolutely loved the city of Louisville ever since relocating here in 2011. She enjoys attending events, visiting local businesses, and is excited to spread information through the City Champs program. On the local dining scene, Kelly says “We have the best restaurants and chefs! So much! Louisville is truly a gem. One example - being landlocked in Kentucky, but still having access to amazing seafood and produce, because we have UPS here and we get all of the amazing food flown in from around the country first! It's awesome!” Kelly is also a member of the Yelp Elite Squad and is a Certified Tourism Ambassador.

Kerry is originally from Louisville, and although she has lived in other parts of the country, she moved back to the area in 2005 noting that the Louisville has all the things a big city offers at a more enjoyable pace. She’s enjoyed seeing Louisville grow in so many ways and appreciates that activities are easily accessible. She volunteers on the board for the KY Shakespeare Festival, the Norton Children’s Hospital Foundation, and is a member of the Louisville Rowing Club. Her favorite place in the city is Cherokee Park, and says that Floyd’s Fork is also a true gem.
