FTC–Foxconn is establishing its first United States location in Louisville, Kentucky, and is hiring a Director-level Head of Sales and Business Development to lead national commercial growth. As one of the world’s leading advanced manufacturing companies, Foxconn brings global scale, innovation, and engineering excellence to its U.S. expansion. This role will build and lead the U.S. sales team, develop major clients across the country, and expand into priority industries such as electronics.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage major client relationships throughout the United States
• Identify and expand into new industries, products, and market opportunities
• Build and lead the U.S. sales team, including hiring and performance management
• Develop sales strategies to support national growth for the new U.S. operation
• Oversee sales pipeline, forecasting, and performance reporting
• Collaborate with engineering and corporate leadership to align product capabilities with market demand
• Represent FTC–Foxconn at key customer meetings and industry events
• Work closely with the CEO of the U.S. company and communicate regularly with corporate BD leadership
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of fifteen years of sales experience, including eight years in a leadership position
• Technical knowledge of mold processing or precision machining (e.g., CNC machining)
• Strong familiarity with the U.S. manufacturing ecosystem
• Demonstrated B2B sales and business development experience in the U.S. market
• Market research and competitive analysis capabilities
• Native English speaker
• Ability to travel within the United States as business needs require
