TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Infusion RN in Jeffersonville, Indiana, 47130!

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Shift: Day Shift
Hours per Shift: M-F 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Call every 4th weekend 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Saturday and Sunday
Experience: Two (2) years of acute care RN experience
License: Registered Nurse License
Certifications: BLS

Must-Have:
- Telemetry experience
- Port access experience
- Phlebotomy experience
- Epic experience

Description:
A professional nurse is accountable for the care of a group of patients.
The Registered Nurse focuses on safe, effective patient, and family-centered care, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes.
The RN is responsible for assisting in maintaining a financially stable unit.
The RN promotes personal development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.
The RN supervises licensed and non-licensed staff members.
The RN is responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care.
The RN focuses on patient and family comfort, education, and satisfaction.
The RN applies educational and professional experiences in the delivery of quality care and mentoring/precepting staff.

Job Responsibilities:
Assessment: Performs assessments and reassessments per policy or as warranted by patient condition.
Demonstrates the ability to make sound independent decisions.
Development and Implementation: Initiates, prioritizes, and implements the plan of care.
Reviews and revises the plan as indicated.
Collaborates with patient/family and interdisciplinary services.
Utilizes resources appropriately to support organizational and patient needs.
Evaluation: Monitors and documents responses to clinical interventions.
Education: Facilitates, coordinates, provides, and evaluates education specific to patient/family needs.
Leadership: Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel.
Functions as a mentor/preceptor.
Encourages and facilitates teamwork.
Identifies and communicates opportunities for improvement.
Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts.
Implements practice changes and complies with regulatory standards.
