Metro College (MC) Metropolitan College is a 25‑year workforce‑education partnership among UPS, the University of Louisville, Jefferson Community & Technical College, Louisville Metro Government, and the Commonwealth of Kentucky. MC offers more than a tuition benefit—it’s a career accelerator. Students work part‑time at UPS while receiving 100% paid in‑state undergraduate tuition at UofL or JCTC, along with bonuses, fee support, full employee benefits, and wealth‑building resources. Through MC’s Career Ready Graduate model, participants gain paid work experience with a global logistics leader, earning $21/hour while developing transferable skills that prepare them for high‑demand careers across Kentucky. MC is more than a way to pay for college—it’s a launchpad for your future.
Evolve502
Evolve502 is a community-driven nonprofit focused on expanding access to higher education for students in Louisville, Kentucky. Built on the belief that education can transform lives and strengthen communities, the organization works to remove systemic barriers that often prevent students from pursuing college or career training. Through its signature scholarship program, Evolve502 provides eligible Jefferson County Public Schools graduates with the opportunity to earn a tuition-free, two-year postsecondary education.
Kentucky Governor's Scholars Program
The Governor’s Scholars Program (GSP) is a highly competitive, five-week summer residential experience for outstanding Kentucky high school students entering their senior year. Selected students attend at no cost and live on college campuses, where they participate in a rigorous and engaging curriculum. The program includes a focused area of study, interdisciplinary general studies, and leadership seminars that emphasize personal growth, critical thinking, and community engagement.
KHEAA
The Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority is a state agency established in 1966 to expand access to higher education for Kentucky students. Its mission is to help individuals plan, prepare, and pay for college by providing both financial resources and guidance. KHEAA administers many of the state’s key financial aid programs, including scholarships and grants like the Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES), College Access Program (CAP) Grant, and Kentucky Tuition Grant (KTG).
