Maintenance Technician – Float

Volunteers of America Mid-States is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician – Float to support the maintenance and upkeep of our Louisville facilities and properties.

What You’ll Do

• Perform general maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, and basic repairs.
• Maintain agency equipment, appliances, and vehicles.
• Complete preventive maintenance.
• Perform janitorial duties such as cleaning, mopping, floor care, and restroom upkeep.
• Complete required documentation and safety procedures.
• Support multiple locations throughout Louisville as needed.

What You’ll Need

• One year of general maintenance experience preferred.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with power tools.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance and janitorial practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow safety procedures.
